Once again, Mr. Tyng has his "facts" all wrong. The Tri-Pact Mark V
Tank Hauler (TP-MVTH) is not a cheap knock-off of a Tyng design, it is,
in fact, a very expensive knock-off. Unlike the ill-equipped Tyng
woodshed, the Tri-Pact Prototyping Facility has all of the equipment
needed to make any project more expensive than the original version.
Why use scrap lumber when more expensive metals can be used? Why glue
things when welding can consume more time, energy and money? Heck, why
not paint something that will be scratched up the instant it is used?

Yes, Mr. Tyng threw some wheels onto a piece of plywood, added a wooden
dowel as a handle and called it a tank hauler. Tri-Pact Engineering
spent thousands of dollars analyzing the design, simulating operating
conditions, over-engineering the solution, and outsourcing manufacturing
to a Chinese subsidiary to save production costs. And the spending is
not over, the Sales and Marketing budget dwarfs the Engineering and
Manufacturing budget, ensuring that the TP-MVTH will not break-even
until at least 1,345,209 units are sold at MSRP (even with the bail-out
money used to finance half of the development costs).

All Tri-Pact employees are confident that the buying public will
recognize the advantages of the TP-MVTH design and will overlook the
extra 357% price tag when purchasing a tool that they can pass down from
generation to generation (which is about how long the seller financing
terms last).
