just getting a little farther ahead (in hopes my nephew shows up), i figure there is no need to have this operated via R/C, but rather a simple control box and tether. now the box, switches and wires are a no biggie as i am thinking maybe a long (retractable? coiled? straight) phone line that would simply plug into the control box and into the gun. this would make it easy to store, move, set up and so forth, oh ya, makes it light weight as you don't have heavy wires to hang from the box or be a problem coiling up. what i am wondering about is turning and elevating the gun. i know i'd like to use some sort of geared motor unit. wiper motors and the likes are out as they are just too big and bulky. i figure what ever it is, i'll be attaching a arm to it to make the gun turn left or right (via momentary push buttons) and i am guessing the same arrangement for elevation. at least that's my basic thoughts and if he does come out but the geared motors, any ideas? if it's something on ebay, odds are i can get it (using PP) i'm still looking for any books or schematics for a emplacement Chris, _Odyssey Slipways_ (http://hometown.aol.com/odysseyslipways/index.html) **************A Good Credit Score is 700 or Above.
