Hmmm …. Good thought. I don’t think it will be flexible enough in the short width I need. I figure the hinge will be about 1-2” wide and 11” long.

Hello – One of the things I don’t like about my tank is that reloading is a very slow process. To correct that, I’m installing a hatch in the top of my turret. I need a hinge mechanism, but I’m not sure what material would be best. I want to use a strip of flexible material, like rubber, to help keep out the paint. I also want to paint it, though, and I don’t think I can paint rubber. Any suggestions ?
