I spoke to a mate ages ago about our tanks and he basically mapped out
in his head how to do a gyro-style gun leveling system - point and
elevate the gun, engage "auto-leveling" mode and the system (using a
gyro/accelerometer) would constantly adjust the gun to keep it where
it was pointing even while you are moving the tank. Like most of these
things, easy to talk about, something else entirely to implement, and
something else entirely again to implement well....
