It is probable that July 11/12th will see an absence of the Challenger due a small technical hitch involving car door lock actuators and high currents.... See historic discussions for more info on that. I will probably be running T027 (which now does turns on the spot :-) ).
However, if I can make it to Surrey, which I can't see being a problem, and assuming it goes ahead, I shall be there, complete with T027 and at least a firing Challenger, hopefully a moving one. I need to produce a little circuitry to make the trigger system in the challenger slightly more reliable and easier on the operator (I.E. push one button, and it only runs the actuator for a few milliseconds, and we'll see how that works. It'll go in-line between the C6C and the BattleSwitch. Should solve the problem I had. At least that's the plan. It all depends on whether I can write the code for the chip before the 11th July or not as to whether the Challenger can make it. If not, there will be a spare C6C control system available.
