As a tank, I agree that it'd get 2 hits, ignoring hits from the front... but I can't find anything in the rules that says SV's don't go by the Defensive Rating table...
Not to be a rules lawyer (but to be one :) Section III.4 says: "Defensive Rating Each asset will be given a defensive rating based on the maximum frontal armor carried by the asset.
