Thanks for the post Doug and the input. I still need to cut the rear axle in half, when I placed my order for pillow bearings I counted wrong and needed to order two more so that’s why the rear is still one solid piece I just got the two bearings in the mail last week. I’ve heard the motors have a lot of torque so I’ll just keep my fingers crossed. I was at Home Depot and really didn’t spend any time thinking about that portion of the build so I just grabbed a couple door hinges and bolts to try and save another trip. I’m sure I’ll have to come up with some other system when the thing breaks the first time I put power to it. The whole tank is made out of ¾ Agathis plywood and with every thing it’s got on it right now it weights in at little over 140 lbs. I figured in the end with everything it should come in at a respectable 200+ pound tank.
