Now that the Summer Skirmish is over, and the scores have been collated, and I've bothered to run the script....
I can reveal that the global ranking page has been updated. Please understand that some of the point counts are a little approximate, as I've not yet found an easy way to make the script not make a few assumptions. The UK battlers are ranked as follows: In 10th place globally, with 6366 points, Neil Rochford. In 21nd place globally, with 2633 points, Jason Pompeus. In 22th place globally, with 2582 points, James Murdey. In 27th place globally, with 1749 points, Chris Malton. In 30th place globally, with 1417 points, Pete Arundel. In 44th place globally, with -417 points, Phil Palmer. I THINK these stats are right. They certainly look it. In addition, if we look at the assets that are UK-owned: In 12th place globally, with 6366 points, T051. In 17th place globally, with 2916 points, T068. In 18th place globally, with 2633 points, SV012. In 19th place globally, with 1666 points, FA006. In 20th place globally, with 1166 points, SV014. In 23rd place globally, with 633 points, T027. In 29th place globally, with -1367 points, T055. For reference, the top ten battlers globally are: 1) Frank Pittelli 2) John Pittelli 3) Will Montgomery 4) Steve Tyng 5) Sean Marlow 6) John Marlow 7) Rick Shultz 8) Bob Amend 9) Amir Tahvildaran 10) Neil Rochford And the top ten assets: 1) T001 (Frank's Tiger) 2) SV005 (Frank's Goer) 3) SV004 (Mike Blattau's UN Peacekeeper) 4) FA003 (Navarone One) 5) T026 (Will Montgomery's SU-100) 6) FA004 (Marty Hayes' Flak-88) 7) T039 (John's Comet) 8) FA005 (John's Comet Bunker) 9) T040 (Steve's "White Knight" Cromwell) 10) T012 (Desert One's Desert Dog) Most of this was pulled off my local copy of the RC Tank Combat website (I.E. I've got it to pull all the details from the main site into a local database, where I can then play with it). Don't use this as a substitute for the main website, because neither I nor Frank will be happy, but here's the stats page: http://hosting.cmalton.me.uk/rctc/#Stats.Global Hope it makes for some interesting perusal. -- Chris Malton Assets: FA006, T027 --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You are currently subscribed to the "R/C Tank Combat" group.
