draw your circle, setting radius either by mousing, or as I do, type in "50mm" for 50 millimeters and press ENTER, then type "100s" and ENTER for 100 sides :)
eg draw circle, 5mm + ENTER, 6s + ENTER will give you a hex head polygon 5mm in radius I have found at the scale we work at 100 sides is ample for a circle.
