If I won the lotto, I'd just buy a full scale tank. I remember that LiPos
have a bit of a problem doing aerobatics in larger and heavier RC planes and
in RC pylon racing, as they have a max current rating (measured in c, I
don't know how they convert to amps), if you exceed the current rating for
too long, you can end up destroying the battery, which usually means the
battery catching fire, as LiPos are rather unstable like that. For LiPos you
also need a special charger, which for the size you're thinking of would be
rather expensive. You also have the problem that you wouldn't be able to
borrow batteries from other tankers, as they will be using larger batteries.
