When we did our demo at the NMAW, we had a few visitors stop by who seemed very interested in building a vehicle and getting involved in the group. Are any of you prowling the message board now ? If so, please chime in and introduce yourselves.
The demo was a lot of fun. Frank and Will set up a shooting range with the Navarone gun. They let the kids shoot at targets (pictures of tanks) and scored each participant. Steve and I drove our tanks around to give the kids a moving target. There was a line of kids waiting to play the whole day. They loved it. When we go a robot festival, our tanks are usually the biggest, beefiest, toughest vehicles on site. It was the total opposite at this event. Being next to all those operational AFVs put our tiny little efforts in perspective J At least we weren't completely the low man on the totem pole. There was one guy there with his 1/16 scale IR shooting King Tiger. - Doug -- You are currently subscribed to the "R/C Tank Combat" group.
