If you don't approve I will build it in scale 1:1 and run any car on it!
Will Have the car's drive wheels sit on two cylinders that will be connected
to the sprockets' drive wheels. Gear them down for more torque so you run
with 50 kms/h with the 5th gear in the car.
I can do it! I've seen some pretty large hinges around!
Darn! why countries like Greece can't just build 100 $ worth tracked
platforms like these for rescue vehicles in the mountains, for the army and
so on?

Is there a photo or something you are referring to Chrys? I can't see
it.
Tracked jeeps? You always come up with something new, Chrys. I've seen
pix of experimental jeeps (and land rovers too) using "triangular"
tracks on each wheel which could probably be modelled using "toy"
rubber tracks, but they were very tall and production vehicles were
more like the Sno-Trac or Weasel.

Is it kosher to build just this platform and fix my Savage or any other
RC jeep on? Can be geared down to translate speed into torque.
