run a second servo in tandem with your steering servo. then rig it to break the circuit for the inside of your turn. Loosing power to the inside + steering the front wheels may do the trick.
you can also try using MAG switches (see speed controls section of the website) because they act as electric speed brakes when "closed". when you turn one direction or the other, the servo arm will move the "inside" MAG swith to neutral - i.e. both switches open. If you want to keep it simple and forego any kind of skid steering, try using the axle from a large R/C truck like the Nylint Rock Crawler. Their drive axles are posi-track so the tracks shouldnt fight you when you turn. - Martin On Mar 21, 4:32 pm, Forlorn Foundry <[email protected]> wrote: > Hello everyone, I just signed up for this group but have been reading > it for months now. > > I'm keeping it small and building a (Sd.Kfz. 250/8) Neu with 5cm Pak > 38. > > It will have 1/8 welded aluminum hull, cast aluminum tracks and > running gear (with resin or rubber tires cast on to the rims), and > torsion bar supension.
