Frank: Thanks for the reply. 400-500 shots / battle -- sounds like some good action! I have many air tanks, including a 68 cu inch, 4500 psi carbon fiber. Got plenty of room in the turret for a 47 cu in , 3000 psi tank -- that should do it. Looks like a you have to go back to base 10 to 12 times, to reload paintballs anyway.
Got the structure of the turret built. Got the paintball gun mounted and articulated for elevation. Working on paintball feed: Tried a smiple tray, and didnt like it. Am working on a tube magazine now. Experimenting with a .75 in steel ball bearing as a follower weight to improve reliability (yes the ball bearing absolutly will not chamber). The ball bearing can be retreved using a magnet, but that system would slow down loading. When is the first battle of the season? Is there anything scheduled?
