Fire control would be a lot more accurate with a First person view.
Also, it's possible to do a full Hud displaying Ammo/Fuel/Battery/GPS.
Personally as an avid gamer who also has a hard time seeing 20ft away
without glasses, this would be my preferred method.
However, the limitations of range and also the possibility of being
blinded and rendered impotent (giggle if you want. I did) on the field
unnerves me.
I think a good way of getting around that (for someone solely navigating
by camera) would be to have a secondary camera in the front, behind a
small piece of plexi with a wiper.
