Hi Neil,

I'm pretty happy with the Bulldog. :-) As my first build I sure
learned a lot and didn't make too many mistakes.

The controller expects to have a circuit for the electric brakes and
if it doesn't find it, it gives an error code and refuses to work. The
brakes are a 24vdc setup so I was thinking that if I could 'fool' the
controller by having a couple of fans to complete the circuit instead
of the electric brakes then when the controller supplies 24vdc to
release the brakes, the fans would run instead. Otherwise I have to
have a set of electric brakes mounted in the tank that don't serve any
purpose other than to keep the controller happy.
The are three 12vdc fans currently in the Bulldog now. Two small,
relatively high CFM fans mounted under the deck, that draw air from
the outside and direct the flow onto the motors, and one larger 12vdc
computer power supply fan that passes air over the controller itself.
These are currently wired in parallel with an LED indicator light on a
manual toggle switch, located beside the master shut-off, on the rear
of the beast. The combined draw of all three fans and LED is just less
than 1 amp.

Cheers,
Fred
