well, it seems easier to have a rotating turret than not, because the
mechanisms for rotation and elevation are separate compared to a
turret-less tank.

the tiger does seem easy, but i don't want a tank that is very
overdone, there is like 12 tigers that are built/building that have a
designation.

the Cromwell looks easy for a turret tank and the Jagdpanther for a
turret-less type. Seeing as how there is only a Jagdtiger, i might go
with the Jagdpanther.

Many military historians consider the Jagdpanther to be one of the
best tank destroyers of the war due to the combination of the 8.8 cm
KwK 43 of the Tiger II and the proven Panther chassis.

I still think I should get a 1/16th model to fool around with while
planning this. That way i can still play around while building it, use
it as a moving target once done, and if i find one that is of what
I'll make, I can "steal" the measurements off it.

So far I have found a place that "supposedly" sells them, but they
seem to be out of stock a lot of mostly everything. It also don't say
who makes is, so it is probably some cheap thing that'll break upon
using it more than once.
