David: Those 4 struts fit tightly side to side, centering the turret deck. I just built that system, today, and I am hopeing not to use any latch, just gravity. The struts go "over center" so it will stay open. I want to have easy access to the air tank for quick recharging at "home base".
I need to build a barrel shroud, like you did for your Tiger, but I am running out of time till next battle. My barrel is just a paintball gun barrel.
