don't look too bad, especially as you can buy 3 metres at a time,
though they're almost certainly quoted net of Value Added Tax at
17.5%. You should be able to avoid paying the VAT if you are outside
the Eurpoean Union, but whether they'd do that for a small order is
another matter.

Could you glue the treads onto the L shaped brackets, rather than
screwing?
