Thanks Phil, sorry I screwed up the link. Gluing might work, as there are apparently specialty adhesives made for acetal (Delrin), but it appears to be a difficult material to bond. I agree strength might be a problem. The conveyor chains that some people are using are made of acetal. The "tabletop" style conveyor chain such as the Spanish guys used for their Leopards is the pretty close to being an attachment chain with the cross slats molded into the chain.
