I'd buy the motors and the marker first, cos they are the biggest
items and you need to know that there is clearance for them to
operate. No use building a hull and then finding it is 0.2" too
narrow. Battery needs to fit but it's a bit easier as it's a simple
shape and it doesn't matter where it goes within limits. Ideally one
would plan it first, then buy all the bits, then assemble it, but life
isn't usually like that.

Yuo also have to sort out the tracks and the final drive at an early
stage.
