The last time that I bought a gallon of Smooth-On it cost just shy of $100 (add shipping). Easy to use, I made a bunch of stuff with it. It is _hard_ but not necessarily durable, and I have no testing info on how it performs under tension (vice compression, where it does really well). I do know that some people in the boat hobby have been adding microfibers to the mix to increase performance under tension. I'll see if I can get some info from one of them.
