Hi Stephen, and welcome to the site. You seem to have a lot of ideas going on here. First of all, what sort of tank or vehicle are you planning to build, and to what scale? What are you going to build it out of, and how much will it weigh?
If you look on the RC tank combat website, you can see a lot of examples of machines that do work. I'd recommend starting with tried and tested designs.
