When operating at 12v, I used 30-40 amps as my normal operating current
estimate based on various measurements we made in the early days. Peak
current draws of 60-90 amps are possible when running EV Warriors at 12v
with excessive loading (such as improper gear ratio or when the motors
are stalled). Peak current draws are lower at 24v, but still large
enough to abuse SLA batteries.
M01 geared motors typically draw 10-20 amps when moving a 120-150lb
tank. They are definitely more effective motors for our purposes,
providing excellent power and less abusive to batteries.

For those of you using EV Warrior motors, either now or in years past,
what is your experience of average amperage, and what voltage were you
running them at?
