NEil , 

I believe you first have to build a portion of the track with 6 or 8 pads with 
the ends connected, then mail it to the draftsperson.
S/He will need to  know how many pads fit on the periphery of the drive wheel. 
It is eventually a polygon of 6? 8? or 10? or more sides that is describing the 
circle of the wheel whereas the teeth are way above the circle's periphery, as 
they engage the pads.  IT is a combination of physical tests and CAD skills. 

I could do it later this spring, if no one else volunteers .
