I purchased a Sabertooth 2x25 a few weeks back. I've installed it and
have had a little bit of a chance to try it out as it were. 98% of the
testing has been on concrete floors in the workshop so I can't speak
of heavy duty constant running around in a grass field.

So far the best thing is the LACK of a high pitch electronic whine. I
like the ability to set the control to a lesser lack of stick
sensitivity.
The new version released in recent weeks allows you to adjust internal
settings using your computer.

It's a small package and I use it to control two scooter motors ratted
at 300 watts. For 125 bucks it's a hard value to beat. Nice thing in
my mind is that if I blow one side of the unit I can get out for as
little as 79 dollars for a new unit that controls one channel. Of
course they say the units can be repaired.

There is a BEC built into the unit.
There is a switch wizard online that can be used to help with the
switch settings.

Now for the other thoughts.

I do wish the connector strip was a bit wider, you should use a ring
stud connected to the wire or at the very least tin the wire with
solder. I had to use a connector where the ring needed to be cut and
squeezed together to properly fit the screw.

You have to make darn sure you hook up the power connections correctly
or else you release the magic smoke.

The information supplied is good but the hookup for the receiver
connections are a bit hard to understand and makes you a bit nervous
when making your connections.

I noted at times a jerking from the motors controls. It's as if the
the unit is getting stray signal even though I'm only a few feet
away. I believe this may be due to several factors and will respond
later today or in the morning about it.
