If the hose they showed you at the paintball shop was 1/4" in diameter
that's what we call macro-tube.  If it's thinner, its call micro-
tube.  Avoid the smaller size as it ruptures easier.  The 1/4" stuff
can still rupture but not as much.  Buy extra for spares.

I've had nothing but trouble using push-in fittings (slow leaks that
cause freeze-ups which block gas flow).  Over the winter I updated the
Cromwell turret, replacing the two push-in fittings with standard 1/4"
brass plumbing compression fittings.  I expect to have a more
consistent firing gun this season.
