Dont forget you have 18v motors in T057 that you run at only 12v .
i`ll bet you could run it at 24v or if you dont want to risk killing
the motors just invest in a pair of 6v jobbies and run at 18v .
You can buy chargers that charge 12 or 6 v for not much monies , just
remember to buy low current chargers for small batteries . i charge 7
AH at just 1 amp . The thing is with batteries no light come on or
buzzer sounds when its damaged. I had a pair of 12v 12AH and one of
then went duff , it still takes a charge but plug it into a tank and
the tank wont work, freaky .
I was surprised to see T057 not working even at 12v with those motors
I would expect better from them, this makes me think its your
batteries that most likely to be at fault.

You are quite right we should all confirm that all has been rigorously
tested before the next event. That way we can arrive on site and
expect a battle to occur not just 4 people stood around in a field for
5 hours ,that could be the reason why there are only 4 of us,
(sorry make that 3 of us) :)

Off the battlefield and on a personal level I will miss Pete greatly
and I wish him all the best in the future, but on the battlefield
things wont be any less .
