For the Florida fans of the Walker M41 Bulldog tank, I just dicovered a real
one at a museum in Merritt Island, FL. (Other state fans are welcome too, but
its a longer drive)
The tank is in generally good shape- its not a rust bucket. The turret is
facing the rear over the gun rest. I asked about it and they said that the
turret is rusted in this position. They even had a crane lift the tank by the
turret, and it didn't move.
On 520 is the Merrit Island Square Mall, a big one. Next to its property
directly south east is a Veteran's Memorial Park and museum. They have many
things from all US wars inside, and they have 2 helicopters and the M41
outside. Mapquest is not showing the tank or helicopters, but you can find the
museum.
