An idea popped in my head this evening on the way to work, has anyone tried that composite decking material for the "wood" portion of the “tyng” track system (tts) ? I went to swing by a local stair manufacturer only to find them closed or moved, there goes my hoping for free or cheep hardwood ;-) . That got me thinking about alternative materials. I figure it might be easier to work with than hardwood but more durable than softer woods.
