Ok Doug and Aaron , you have a valid point, in such a scenario 100 bbs take up less room than 40 paintballs, and in the real world you wouldn’t use a tank shell to take out a soldier, but in this hobby we all ready use infantry and we blast away at them quite happily using paintballs, the fact that infantry are harder to hit than a 3 foot tank gives a Field artillery an advantage and equally a tank has immunity from frontal hits, this in practice balances out to make a very interesting game. A tank can face an artillery piece and is fine and dandy knocking out its crew until an enemy tank arrives on the screen.
If you wish to fit a bb machine gun to your tank then great, do it, Id love to see it work , new ideas help keep the hobby growing ,but personally I dont think hitting paper targets will measure up to painting 3D soldiers with .68 cal .
