Molds that support thousands of pulls are made out of big chunks of steel 
with a lot of custom machining that goes into them.  According to the wiki 
article on hobby molding, you might see 100 pulls from an 
epoxy aluminum mold http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hobby_injection_molding.

I know your kits are popular with the sci-fi crowd but do you really have 
the volume to support a multi-thousand dollar mold for each kit?  I just 
don't see a lot of small kit suppliers doing injection molding probably for 
this reason.

Have you thought about spin die casting?  Zinc is cheap and melts at a low 
temp.  The molds are made out of vulcanized rubber and anyone with a big 
enough oven can knock one out.
