Chris, Molds that support thousands of pulls are made out of big chunks of steel with a lot of custom machining that goes into them. According to the wiki article on hobby molding, you might see 100 pulls from an epoxy aluminum mold http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hobby_injection_molding.
I know your kits are popular with the sci-fi crowd but do you really have the volume to support a multi-thousand dollar mold for each kit? I just don't see a lot of small kit suppliers doing injection molding probably for this reason. Have you thought about spin die casting? Zinc is cheap and melts at a low temp. The molds are made out of vulcanized rubber and anyone with a big enough oven can knock one out. Steve -- You are currently subscribed to the "R/C Tank Combat" group.
