Seen this before. This system shoots at any moving item in it's target area. Issue's for real-world use:
- Valid target recognition - Friend/Foe recognition - Hit recognition - No ballistics calculations (for long range gunnery) - Limited to a single stationary field of view - Non-mobile, limited to fixed positions Scanning a video stream for changing pixels is easy. Incorporating the above is the real challenge. If someone had one of these on the field I'd just lob paint in from long range to foul it's camera.
