Tri-Pact, on the other hand, is currently building one of the most
complex suspension designs ever seen on the real battlefield. High
cost, bulky, made from many different materials, each requiring many
fabrication hours, including bending, threading, punching and welding.
Reliability will approach zero just because of the sheer number of
parts. No one in their right mind would build it.
To make things even more complicated, Tri-Pact is actually building
three completely different suspension systems for three different tanks.
The suspension systems will incorporate home-made torsion springs
(like the work pioneered by Doug Conn), adjustable torsion bars (new
approach) and some classic leaf springs.
In short, by the time TyngTech is done building their new volute spring
system and Tri-Pact is done building their new systems this winter, the
catalog of successful suspension systems in the hobby will have been
greatly expanded.

It is low cost, compact, made from common hardware store items, and
easy to fabricate requiring no welding or machining.
