I'll start charging batteries a few days before and try to remember to have a bunch of AA batteries on hand for the turret and Tx. The night before I'll load a set of batteries to see if the tank spins tracks and turret. If the tank was running good the last battle I usually don't go over it too much. The Cromwell typically shows up with the mud, dirt, and paint from the last battle still stuck to it. I gave it a major a couple of years ago. The last paint job was in 08 I think.
