I'll start charging batteries a few days before and try to remember to have 
a bunch of AA batteries on hand for the turret and Tx.  The night before 
I'll load a set of batteries to see if the tank spins tracks and turret. 
 If the tank was running good the last battle I usually don't go over it 
too much.  The Cromwell typically shows up with the mud, dirt, and paint 
from the last battle still stuck to it.  I gave it a major a couple of 
years ago.  The last paint job was in 08 I think.
