I have calculated that this battery gives you 12.5 ah / kg whilst SLA gives only around 2.6 ah / kg. A staggering difference of 5 times more ah for the same weight at a very similar voltage, and that's not taking into account the fact that an 18 ah SLA doesn't provide 18 ah. i like this battery ..
