I will be glad to make part of some publicity for your system and my idler is the track tensioner but not auto ajustable like on your tanks.
When I will be able to post my built on the Rc combat tank webside I will show it clearly . The idler is attach to a small arm which pivot on a axle and it got a pin wich got in pre-made position holes that give me a solid ajustement. When I mount the track I compress all the suspension and ajust the idler accordingly so the entire suspension is use to keep the tension on the track.
