I suspect the confusion arises from the LCRI on reproductions, which was counter to AACR2, and some seem to be carrying over to RDA. In both AACR2 and RDA one catalogues what one has (i.e., no 533). For a print item, reproduction or not: 336 $atext$2rdacontent 337 $aunmediated$2rdamedia 338 $avolume$2rdacarrier The fact that it is a printout from an electronic resource is recorded elsewhere. Too bad we lost 503. __ __ J. McRee (Mac) Elrod (m...@slc.bc.ca) {__ | / Special Libraries Cataloguing HTTP://www.slc.bc.ca/ ___} |__ \__________________________________________________________
