I have been asked to catalog a special issue of a serial as a
monograph. I have done this in the past, but my record in OCLC was
changed by a member library, so I thought I would ask to see how others
would do this.
In this case that this issue is a special issue is noted on the table of
contents page, along with the topic of the issue and the name of a guest
editor. The title of the journal is on the cover and the title page.
The other pertinent publication information is on the title page and
verso. Where should the special issue title and journal title be encoded?
