[I am reposting this because I yesterday accidentally hijacked some
other thread, and possible didn't get knowledgeable answers because I
hid my question away.]

Hi,

when using rdiff-backup 1.1.5 (Debian unstable) to back up from a host
which has rdiff-backup 0.13.4 (Debian stable), I get a warning:

Warning: Local version 1.1.5 does not match remote version 0.13.4.

Afterwards, rdiff-backup exits with an exception (typescript attached).

Is there any way to make this combination of rdiff-backup commands
work short of updating the remote host's rdiff-backup to 1.1.5?

Greetings
Marc
