hi, i'm backing up a running system and there are sockets under /var. here is the error message i get:
SpecialFileError <filename> Socket error: AF_UNIX path too long i've tried using the --exclude-sockets option, but it still prints this error it does not stop the backup, so i think this is a kind of warning or so but since i don't want to redirect stderr to /dev/null (to notice other errors from cron) i get a mail about this daily, so it's a bit annoying ;) any ideas? thanks, VMiklos -- developer of Frugalware Linux - http://frugalware.org _______________________________________________ rdiff-backup-users mailing list at [email protected] http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/rdiff-backup-users Wiki URL: http://rdiff-backup.solutionsfirst.com.au/index.php/RdiffBackupWiki
