I'm a first time user of rdiff-backup and just went by the early
documentation far as cmds go... to run an experiment.

I used the format:
  rdiff-backup [email protected]::/remote-dir local-dir

remotehost was winXP
localhost was Opensolaris (zfs filesystem)

Ended up copying 23 GB... but the nasty thing is, it took a whopping
6+ hrs... from the session-stats log:
  ElapsedTime 21751.67 (6 hours 2 minutes 31.67 seconds)

I'm pretty sure this is not the expected outcome. In the session
error log I see only error messages indicating certain files were
busy.

Full session stats are printed at the end... but what is likely to
cause such a massive amount of time to rdiff-backup a relatively small
amount of data?
