Allan, As I think of it, you have to be correct! I made a series connection to take advantage of the controller, till I could rewire the entire mess. They were originally running into 4 breakers. The panels are Seimens 53 watt if memory serves me correct. The voltages are taken form the FM 60
Another thing that stands out is that some of the wire we were using did not hold up well after 10 years.
