Solarline 1 are the MC3 connectors, the older ones without latches.
Solarline 2 are the MC4 with locking latches.
Tyco are made by a different company, oddly enough named Tyco. Only a few
panels use them, in fact I have seen only one brand.
None of them are compatible with each other.

2. The more connectors you have in a system, the more
chance for
problems. We install a PVC J-box with panel mount
connectors such that the
factory leads can reach without spicing or extending.
3. From the J-box, un-spliced building wire (usually THHN)
is run through
conduit to the termination point.
