Wrenches,

Can anyone help me to determine the commutation type and rated power factor (%) for a Fronius 4000 IG. These are required line items on a permit application. The options for commutation type are forced and line. I feel like this may apply to older inverter technology but I am not sure. Any help would be appreciated.

The inverters' Commutation is done electronically but I have see the term "Line Commutation" used in regards to grid tie before too.

Maybe you could just say "Electronic Switching Commutation" ? Or, "Solid State Commutation" ?

Power Factor is an easy one... PF = 1.0
