Peter, If the modules were indeed defective, why should the manufacturer go unnamed? Publicity of defective hardware is one of few tools we installers have to encourage better quality.

Problem was not with squirrels but defective modules (mfgr will go unnamed). We were instructed to carefully refit the expanded metal screens to keep "ground squirrels" out from underneath the modules. We used LMFC everywhere to get to the first j-boxes and then EMT to the inverters. I believe that "ground squirrels" are not really squirrels but rodents of another sort. - Peter Peter T.
