Hello Wrenches...
In typical ballasted systems, the combiner box is mounted on unistrut fastened to roof stand-offs which are not fastened to the roof. I was wondering what your opinion would be about this in reference to the following NEC section: 110.13 Mounting and Cooling of Equipment (A) Mounting. Electrical equipment shall be firmly secured to the surface on which it is mounted. Has anyone ever had a problem with this during an inspection?
