Bob,
 That's true the "watermiser" caps don't recombine the escaping hydrogen. They 
do however return almost 90% if the water and drops of acid back to the 
battery. And the caps don't need to be removed during equalization. These are 
the primary features we are looking for. The battery box still needs to be 
vented no matter which caps are on the battery.

  Hydrocaps remove most of the free hydrogen from the air that is caused by 
gassing. The Watermisers do not, however they do the same good job of keeping 
the tops of the batteries clean ad the HCs.
