Are there UL testing procedures for Grid-tied Battery Backup Systems, such as the Xantrex XW systems and the Outback GVFX systems? The reason for my inquiry is that the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power intends to require that "...applicants installing Battery Backups on their solar systems to submit an Operational Listing detailing a precise list of steps of what were to happen if the LADWP grid were to lose power."
