Hi wrenches,
I have an interesting situation of a intentional living community with a
donated
old commercial roof section with 4 unisolar pv-144 laminated on top.
They want to get the thing grid tied on a budget and I am trying to sort out
how. On the one hand, a power one aurora pvi- 2000 makes sense because the
additional input wattage can be used on the other chanel if more panels show
up,
but of course the price is a burden. I was wondering if an enphase would work
at
all. Do any of you know if the power will attenuate if overloaded for a limited
time at solar noon, or will it wreck the inverter. (that would be in a parallel
string of 2).
I know it is not a great situation array wise, or return on investment, but I
would like to sort something out for them.
thanks,
Nick Vida
